The water parks in Malaga are an added extra, one of those reasons that have made visiting Malaga in summer not just a good idea, but THE IDEA, in capital letters. Whether you visit alone, with friends or with the family, the Andalusian province can and does boast numerous attractions, entertainment services and leisure offers for all tastes and pockets. And these mega centres of fun and adrenaline on the water are the best example.

The value for money, the happiness of children and not so children, being cool when the sun is at its hottest, the joy of soaking in the water day in and day out in summer… As Sabina would say, “we have plenty of reasons” to let ourselves go in any water park in Malaga.

The proposals that we bring you from Yellowcar coincide: they are the best way to cool off, they have all the services (restaurants, bars, security, etc.) and form a trio of aquatic leisure that is well worth a visit. To do this, nothing better than to grab your swimming costume and sun cream, get behind the wheel of your car, and get ready to have a great time between slides, wave pools and ‘kamikazes’. To the water, ducks!

Aquavelis Torre del Mar

Located in Torre del Mar (Velez-Malaga), Aquavelis is one of the best options to consider among the best water parks in Malaga.

Its remarkable facilities, for both adults and children, include the classic wave pool, a large lake, children’s water areas, a spa-like jet pool and slides for all levels of fun.

But if the Aquavelis Torre del Mar park stands out for anything, it is for its star attractions. Starting with the “Kamikaze”, a slide 80 metres high. Then there are the soft slopes, which are said to be the best on the Costa del Sol. And finishing with the jewel in the crown: its spectacular Virtual Reality Arcade “VRFun”, a virtual reality area where you can immerse yourself in incredible games and fight against drones or zombies. This attraction is open all year round.

Aqualand Torremolinos

Aqualand has branches in several countries, and one of them is in Torremolinos. This park divides its fun into 4 categories: “Adrenaline Fun”, “Kidzworld”, “Family Fun” and “Chill out & Play”. Each one of them depends on the age, height and adrenaline charge, so its offer is extremely attractive for all ages and tastes.

Located just 15 minutes by car from the centre of Malaga, the attractions of Aqualand Torremolinos will make you spend a day of maximum fun.

The Boomerang, a gigantic 15-metre half pipe with a vertigo-inducing drop; the Black Hole, a 12-metre dark tube-shaped slide; or the famous Kamikaze, a 22-metre slide with a significant drop, are the crème de la crème for those looking for adrenaline and speed.

Another of the park’s star attractions is Anaconda and its 20-metre ride full of speed, adrenaline and water. In addition, they have recently opened a colourful multitrack to race with your friends. For the little ones, their paradise will be in the kidsworld children’s area, with its slides, suspension bridges, etc.

Among the main attractions of Aquamijas, the Kamikaze stands out for the most daring (from 7 years old), a slide 17 metres high, going down the Rio Bravo or going round and round in the labyrinth of slides Crazy Loop. Bonus: Water parks in Malaga… but in the sea!

The floating water parks are the perfect complement to Aqualand, Aquavelis and Aquamijas, as well as an excellent option for fun and refreshment on your summer trip to Malaga.

It’s easy to swap the enclosed area for the open beach without leaving the slides and inflatables. On the western Costa del Sol you will find them on the beaches of Benalmádena (Playa Bil Bil), Fuengirola (Playa Carvajal and Los Boliches), Puerto Banús, Marbella, Estepona and San Pedro de Alcántara. Open every summer from 11am to 8pm.

In Torre del Mar, very close to the Aquavelis, you will also find an inflatable water park to have a great time.

In Malaga city, specifically on the Malagueta beach, you can also have fun or give free rein to the children’s fun on gigantic inflatables on the water.
