We make a difference
It is common to find surprisingly low rental vehicle prices on the web that can become more expensive not only during the booking process but also during the rental and even after it has concluded.
The most common additional concepts are:
– Additional insurance not previously contracted.
– Insurance that claims to be “all-inclusive” and then is not.
– High repair costs in case all insurances are not contracted.
– Charges for fuel or fuel systems unfavorable to the customer. For example, paying for the full tank of fuel upfront and returning it empty.
– Charges for fine management after the rental has ended.
Although we may initially appear more expensive, Yellow Car only displays the actual final price for its rentals with no hidden additional costs.

Usually, in these cases, a confusing array of insurance options is offered that may not include true comprehensive coverage without a deductible. The deductible is the maximum amount you will have to pay in the event of damage or theft to the vehicle, even if it’s not your responsibility. It is usually charged in advance through a credit card hold or deposit.
Companies often encourage their staff to offer these types of insurance options when picking up the vehicle, and if not purchased, they may compensate by placing a hold on your credit card as a guarantee.
If you do not purchase the maximum insurance coverage, we recommend inspecting the vehicle thoroughly for existing damage and ensuring that it is detailed in the rental contract.
Even if you opt for the maximum insurance coverage, you should verify that the insurance covers you in the following cases:
– Tire punctures or damage to the vehicle’s wheels and undercarriage.
– Breakage of vehicle windows or windshields.
– Breakage or loss of electronic keys.
– Towing service for vehicle retrieval.
– Replacement vehicle in case of breakdown or accident.
– 24-hour taxi service for urgent transportation in case of breakdown or accident.
Yellow Car only offers a single type of insurance coverage without a deductible. We will not hold a deposit on your credit card for this, and we will not inspect the vehicle for damage upon pickup or return.
All the aforementioned features are included in the price.
The operation of most car rental companies at Malaga Airport is usually one of the following:
a) The customer must go to a company counter located inside the airport. Once the rental agreement is formalized there, they must go to the public parking area at the airport assigned to that company where the rental vehicle is located. Depending on the season and the company in question, the waiting time at the counter queue may vary.
b) The customer is met by a person upon arrival in the public arrivals area of the airport and is directed to a minibus or shared transport that takes them to the rental company’s reservation center outside the terminal building. It is there where the rental agreement is formalized, and the vehicle is handed over. In this case, it may be necessary to wait for other customers before the transfer, and the journey to the company’s location may be longer or shorter.
The operation of Yellow Car is different.
Our staff awaits you in the public arrivals area of the Airport. The rental agreement is formalized right there and then (if you have previously provided your personal information, the process is very quick).
Our staff assists you in transferring your luggage to the exterior of the Terminal, as close as possible to the vehicle access area, where another employee is waiting with the car.
With Yellow Car, you do not need to wait in line at the rental company counter or travel to their offices in shared transportation.
Most companies usually deliver rental cars with a full tank of fuel. In some cases, when the rate is very economical, the customer may be asked to pay for the fuel, and the vehicle should be returned with an empty tank. This system represents an additional cost for the customer since it is difficult to precisely use the fuel to return the rental with the tank completely empty, and the price charged for the fuel can be higher than the market price.
Yellow Car provides all vehicles with a full tank of fuel, and the customer must return it in the same condition. This way, charges for fuel are avoided.
