The Starlite Festival Marbella has established itself as one of Europe’s most exclusive musical and cultural events. Set in a former open-air quarry and surrounded by nature, this boutique festival offers intimate concerts featuring world-class artists, signature cuisine and a unique experience under the stars.

However, as it’s such a unique venue, finding your way there can be a bit of a challenge, especially if you’re coming from outside Marbella or aren’t very familiar with the area. That’s why we’re explaining how to get to Starlite Marbella, the best ways to get around, and why hiring a car might be the most convenient and sensible option.

Where is the Starlite Festival held?

The Starlite Occident Festival 2026 takes place at the Nagüeles Quarry, a unique venue in the heart of the Sierra Blanca, around 5 kilometres from the centre of Marbella.

Although it is relatively close to the city, it is surrounded by nature, which gives it that exclusive atmosphere… but also makes it somewhat difficult to reach if you don’t plan ahead.

How to get to Starlite Marbella by car

The most practical option, especially if you want to get around freely and avoid queues, is to come by car. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it:

From Malaga city centre or the airport:

  • Take the AP-7 towards Marbella.
  • Exit 182 (Nagüeles) or 181A (Marbella town centre).
  • Follow the signs for Camino de Nagüeles and the Nagüeles Quarry.
  • The journey from Málaga Airport takes approximately 45 minutes.

From Estepona:

  • Take the A-7 towards Marbella.
  • Take the A-7 towards Marbella.
  • Estimated time: 25 minutes.

From inland areas (Ronda, Mijas, etc.):

  • Head towards Marbella via the A-355 or A-397.
  • Take the A-7 or AP-7, depending on your route.

Where can I park at Starlite?

Starlite has several designated parking areas in the immediate vicinity, although space is limited. There is also the option to purchase VIP parking, which is closer to the venue.

In addition, the festival offers a free shuttle service from the main car park to the main entrance of the venue.

Other options: taxis, shuttle buses and private hire vehicles

If you don’t want to drive, you can choose to:

  • Taxis and private hire vehicles from Marbella, Puerto Banús or Málaga.
  • Official festival shuttle services, available from various locations in the centre of Marbella.

However, on busy nights, getting a taxi or an Uber can be difficult and expensive, especially after concerts.

Why hire a car to go to the Starlite Festival?
